My manzanita branches Centerpieces!

Hey! So I wanted some help! Let me know what you think of my centerpieces and what I could add to it to make it better (if anything!) BTW for my real centerpieces instead of the flowers at the bottom on the pot, i'm going to use blue beads. I'm also going to put 3 or 4 blue tealight candle holder (votive) with white candles inside them around the table.

I bought my manzanita branches at Blooms and Branches, which turned out great!
I also bought my flowers with pearls inside them at Michaels. Everything probably came out (roughly) to $18.

I spray painted the branches a glossy brown.
The white vase I bought from Christmas Tree Shop for $1.
I also had to buy Plaster of paris. I got mine at Michaels for a trial, but you can buy a 25lb one at Amazon for about $25 and that should be good for all of your centerpieces.

(The only thing missing in my calculations is the white rocks I'm going to put, instead of the flowers...but that shouldn't be too much)

I put in rocks instead from IKEA...they were about $2 for a pack, i bought way more packs than I needed!
Real total was around $20 each centerpiece :)

10 Months To Go!

So our wedding is November 13, 2010! We have about 303 days to go before the BIG day! I'm hoping to get at least one post a month lol just kidding! But hey I am a full-time student (I'm taking 22credits this semester!) and I'm also a youth leader at my church. Currently I'm working at the community center of my town as an Arts and Crafts instructor twice a week. (However I'm stopping that at the end of February.) I'm also in a band (check us out!) Blackturnsred.com and I'm a photographer, (trying to make it big! lol) check me out at Jackiephotography.net!

Well then enough about me! More about wedding stuff!

Our reception place is at the Waterpavilion in Belmar, NJ! The awesome thing about them is that you don't have to choose a wedding package (which starts at $70 something per person and goes all the way to $100 and something!) You can choose dinner or cocktail packages (which start at $30 something depending if you want open bar, cash bar or tab.)

Anyway they are awesome, cheap, friendly and it's beautiful place.

We are having a buffet style dinner on Saturday Night with open bar!

Unfortunately the centerpieces are not included, so hopefully we can find something cheap and beautiful.

So if you are looking for a banquet hall for any type of party, check them out!

-It looks small, but it really isn't. We are having about 150 people. Their max for sit-down reception is 250 and buffet is 220!
